1. What services does DIVINE HOME provide?
DIVINE HOME is a full service décor, interior decorating and home staging consultation company offering a range of services including home staging consultation, renovation "how to", colour consultation, space planning, furniture placement, kitchen and bath design, interior decorating, design and furnishing recommendations, custom window treatments and draperies, soft furnishings and re-upholstery services and organizing/de-cluttering services.
2. What if I want to hire you to help co-ordinate a renovation project?
DIVINE HOME may be the overall project manager or manage a specific component of a project. Your renovation project will be reviewed in detail during an initial consultation. If it is determined that you would like DIVINE HOME to manage all of part of the project, a proposal will be submitted detailing a preliminary budget, payment schedule, project considerations and timetable, for your consideration.
3. Do I have to spend a lot of money to achieve good design?
Creating a divine home does not have to cost a fortune. DIVINE HOME will provide the perfect solutions for your renovation and interior décor needs; one that matches your lifestyle and budget.
4. Can I work with DIVINE HOME for the design recommendations and do the actual work or project management myself?
Yes. DIVINE HOME can be involved as little or as much as you would like. No matter how small or large the renovation project, we will work with a general contractor of your choice, or use our good relationships with reliable trades for an impeccable realization of your project.

1. What is home staging?
Living in your home and selling it are two very different things. People set up their homes in a way that appeals to them and is practical for them to live in. When it’s time to sell, you need to package your home into a product that can be marketed to the masses. Home staging is in essence “detailing” your house to sell it in order to ensure it appeals to the greatest number of buyers.
2. Why is home staging important?
Successful builders use Model Homes and Model Suites to sell their projects because they know that presenting a show home environment creates that wow! factor that is enticing to buyers and compels them to “fall in love”. That’s the recipe for writing up offers and that’s why home staging works.
3. Why should I spend money on a house that I’m selling?
You only have 1 chance to make a great first impression. Your upfront investment in staging will ensure that your property stands out amongst your competition. By investing a few hundred dollars, you will sell your property faster and for more money. Even conservative statistics show that staged properties sell in half the time and for at least 5% more than its non staged neighbours.
5. How much will the property staging cost?
Each home is different. Some big houses need very little staging and some small ones could need a lot of work. But, as a rule of thumb, you should plan for 0.5% to 1% of the house price for property staging costs.
4. My house is empty - should I stage?
Most definitely! Empty homes are harder to sell and can carry with them stigma that invite low ball offers.
